I probably spent more time on this one than I should have, but I really had high hopes for it.
From original photo to final sticker I went through a lot of iterations. I didn’t want a photorealistic background, but I found I wanted some sense of the environment. I wanted a glow that immediately drew the eye to the star of the show, and I wanted the Puffin in focus and clearly drawn and painted. I found myself creating more than one work, some with AI some I edited by hand, then blending them together to find the happy medium that suited my journal’s needs.
